.- PARADA DE ATAUTA, BALANCE AND HARMONY · Luis Guitierrez focuses on the great balance and harmony that makes the 2012 vintage of Parada de Atauta stand out along with an excellent integration of aromas of ripe cherries and sweet spices. He describes the palate of this wine as polished and sleek.
.- DOMINIO DE ATAUTA, A GREAT TEMPRANILLO · According to Luis Gutierrez Dominio de Atauta 2012 is a mineral wine with echoes of toasted cereals over a core of ripe cherries, making for a nicely balanced nose with well-integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, also balanced and with fine tannins.
.- LA MALA, THE REFLECTION OF AN EXCEPTIONAL VINEYARD · Luis Gutiérrez points out that La Mala 2011 is a faithful reflection of this warm vintage and of its namesake vineyard, which gives very low yields (only enough for two barrels) and excellent concentration. It will be interesting to see how it evolves.
.- VALDEGATILES, POLISHED AND BALANCED · Luis Gutierrez notes that this single vineyard Valdegatiles 2011 is fresh with a ripe palate, which is typical of this vintage and speaks highly of its polished and balanced nature.
